Cycling Without Age Shropshire

Shropshire Cycle Hub is proud to be introducing this latest initiative to the county. You may have seen our trishaws on duty about town, mostly at weekends, for the past couple of years. We've long thought that we should make more use of these valuable assets, hence our involvement with CWA.

We are now part of ‘Cycling Without Age’, a non-profit global initiative. The UK has a growing number of local chapters run by volunteers. Volunteers take older people and those with mobility difficulties out on trishaw rides. Our trishaws are three-wheel cycles with a passenger cab out front and are motor assisted.

Our rides are comfortable, fun and free. They enable people to experience the town and nature close-up from the bicycle. It also helps them regain important social connections. Our volunteers and passengers enjoy the physical and emotional benefits.
