"Shropshire Cycle Hub Volunteer David Staniforth proposed the idea of a Free Cycle Delivery Service in Wellington to promote the Independent Traders. Since the pilot of the service was launched in October 2022 a dozen local volunteers have been recruited to ride the E Cargo Bike and E Bike with Trailer to serve local Traders and Customers in the Wellington Area. Hopefully this will increase footfall and trade as well and reduce carbon emissions, contributing to Net Zero Targets."
